RISINGSTAR POWERHOUSE UNVEILS COVERS AFRICA MUSIC SHOW
Covers Africa will be launched this January, the event’s organizers have confirmed, with the competition stage of the show scheduled for March. The announcement by CE Productions makes Covers Africa the first show from the stable of Rising Star PowerHouse to be presented this year.
The music reality TV Show is designed to empower up-and-coming music acts and to showcase their creativity through the talent of other established musicians’ original production. The show is fashioned to give entertainment and music lovers a ‘cover’ experience on TV.
Covers Africa will air on Soundcity and its subsidiaries for 8 weeks after a call has been made for entry, contestants auditioned and 15 finalists selected for the main show. It will be hosted by celebrity Video Jockey, VJ Adams, and OAP, Ada Onianwah (Ada OHH).
“Sustainable growth and development are key,” says Ubong Kardynal, Head of Media and Publicity for Rising Star PowerHouse, “…promoting the vocal delivery skill of up-and-coming African music artiste is our ultimate goal for this project”. Official Sponsors, partners, and producers of the show are expected to be unveiled in an elaborate Covers Africa World Press Conference by February.
